Michael Keaton was an American actor, producer and director who is most well-known as the main character of Birdman. Keaton's versatile acting skills make him proficient in both comedy and drama. Apart from playing romantic roles, he also played in action films as well as thrillers. He was attracted to performing and acting while at the age of teen and tried his luck at stand-up comedy as young men. He had a failed comedy career, but it paved the path for his successful acting career. In order to be successful in the field of comedy He was offered a position as a cameraman at an local cable television station. He realized his real interest was front of the camera when he was working in the position. He was then offered a television part, playing many episodes in Mister Rogers Neighborhood. He was a naturally gifted actor who soon gained a lot of attention in the world of television. With great ambitions, he made a move into film and was a household name due to his comedic roles. For Tim Burton's Batman in the film, he portrayed Batman, the character of the same name. In time he grew up in the field of acting and then began working in productions and directed films. The 2013 Birdman film earned him multiple nominations and awards.
